MCMS Update

Good Afternoon MCMS Families! Happy Fall!  We hope you and your family are enjoying the official start of the fall season.  Last week, we welcomed a lot of guests to our campus for several different events.  We had Janet's Planet, CSI, MCMS PTO and SIC meetings, Volleyball games, Grits for Grands, and our Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly.  Some of our parents and grandparents were on campus multiple times.  We appreciate your support and involvement, you are one of the many reasons why MCMS is a great school! This is a great time of the year to make sure students are staying on track and performing well in their academics.  We are quickly approaching the end of the first quarter of the school year.  We will have Parent/Teacher conferences on October 13th.  Be on the look out for more information for your child's teacher on scheduling a meeting.   Stay connected with your child's academic progress by monitoring grades on the Parent Portal.  Our teachers update grades weekly

Good Afternoon MCMS Families! Happy weekend and we hope that your family is doing well today!  It is fall time and activity around our campus is busy.  The MCMS Athletic teams had a great week, our Volleyball team picked up two wins and our Football team picked up one.  We encourage everyone come out and support our student athletes as compete against teams from around the midlands.  This Thursday (9/21/23) is Grits for Grands at Lunch !  We have almost 250 grandparents registered for this fun event.  We will send out more information to those who registered related to check-in and lunch logistics.  The lunch price will be $5.50 per guest (students are at no cost), cash only .  We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday. Friday, we look forward to celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a school-wide assembly.  We have several students speaking in the program, the MCMS Chorus is performing, and we will have an energetic guest speaker.  We will stream this event on Facebook Live Fr

Happy Labor Day Weekend!  We hope that all of our families are enjoying an extra long weekend and extra rest.  We finished another great week at MCMS with a fun Pep Rally on Friday, honoring our fall sport student athletes and ending with a Faculty/Student Volleyball game!  Everyone had a great time and the girls team took home the win.  Check out a couple of pictures from the Pep Rally.
