Mindset of the Week- Attitude of Gratitude
The Attitude of Gratitude Mindset teaches us the importance of seeking the positives from every experience and being thankful for all that we have. Through this mindset, students will learn that we can use the positives or the negatives of our lives as the foundation on which to build. Choose the positives, and we are on our way toward extraordinary success; choose the negatives, and we embark on path toward disappointment, resentment, and suffering.
Live to Give- American Heart Association
One of our 7 mindsets is Live to Give. The main focus of this mindset is about serving others. As a school, we feel it is important to model this idea and life quality for our students. Each month MCMS will focus on one or more causes to bring awareness too. This month our Live to Give cause will be American Heart Association.Black History Month Program
We are excited to host our annual Black History Month Program on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 8:00 AM. We will have Poet and Educator, Jennifer Bartell Boykin, with us to provide an inspirational message. Parents are welcome to attend and we will be streaming the program online.
Hat Day for American Heart Association
Next Friday, February 23, 2024, we will be having a Hat Day for students. Students will be able to pay $1 to wear a hat or redeem their i-Ready reward incentive. All funds raised will be donated to our February Live to Give the American Heart Association.
