Mindset of the Week- Attitude of Gratitude
The Attitude of Gratitude Mindset teaches us the importance of seeking the positives from every experience and being thankful for all that we have. Through this mindset, students will learn that we can use the positives or the negatives of our lives as the foundation on which to build. Choose the positives, and we are on our way toward extraordinary success; choose the negatives, and we embark on path toward disappointment, resentment, and suffering.
Live to Give- American Heart Association
One of our 7 mindsets is Live to Give. The main focus of this mindset is about serving others. As a school, we feel it is important to model this idea and life quality for our students. Each month MCMS will focus on one or more causes to bring awareness too. This month our Live to Give cause will be American Heart Association.SC Junior Scholar Announcement
We are proud to announce the MCMS SC Junior Scholars for 2023-2024. The SC Junior Scholars Program identifies eighth-grade students with exceptional academic talent. i-Ready Success and Incentives
i-Ready is an educational program that we utilize in our school and district to help students grow in the areas of Reading and Math. Each student has a personalized pathway or set of lessons that help them grow. We are proud of the hard work of our students and will be recognizing them for passing a certain amount of lessons in reading and math. The more lessons passed, the better the incentives. Please have your child show you their individual i-Ready pathway and progress.
