Good Afternoon MCMS Families! We hope you and your family are staying cool in this summer heat!  It was a great first week of the 2023-2024 school year.  Students quickly got back in the school routine and settled into their new classes.  It was great having the energy and excitement from our students back in the building for the launch another great year at MCMS! Each week you will receive this update to keep you informed and aware of what is going on at MCMS.  We will send additional reminders for special events and other important information for parents to know throughout the week. Our new school motto "Student Focused, Community Driven," is a great representation of who we are as a school.  To help improve on our school and the work we are doing, we need your help. Support MCMS- Publix Partners through Club Publix

MCMS Families, Do you shop at Publix?  If you do, we have an easy way for you to support our school!  Add Mid-Carolina Middle School to your Club Publix account.  Each time you shop and enter your phone number, Publix will donate money back to our school.  Below is information and a link to a document on how you can add our school to your account. Publix Partners through Club Publix Publix Partners has gone digital, meaning there is  no physical card required . Attached, you will find a document that outlines steps to link a personal Club Publix account to your school. Please advise your school’s staff and parents to sign up for a   Club Publix   account to designate your school as the Publix Partners recipient on their account. MCMS Update- September 17, 2023

Good Afternoon MCMS Families! Happy weekend and we hope that your family is doing well today!  It is fall time and activity around our campus is busy.  The MCMS Athletic teams had a great week, our Volleyball team picked up two wins and our Football team picked up one.  We encourage everyone come out and support our student athletes as compete against teams from around the midlands.  This Thursday (9/21/23) is Grits for Grands at Lunch !  We have almost 250 grandparents registered for this fun event.  We will send out more information to those who registered related to check-in and lunch logistics.  The lunch price will be $5.50 per guest (students are at no cost), cash only .  We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday. Friday, we look forward to celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a school-wide assembly.  We have several students speaking in the program, the MCMS Chorus is performing, and we will have an energetic guest speaker....
